Well TLB Crew,
We are halfway through the first month of the new year and there are a lot of new members/subscribers to welcome. I figured a little intro on myself and what The Loyal Butcher Co. is all about was in order.
Eight years ago, I was blessed with my first dog son, Dante. I had him on a kibble based diet for the first year of his life and let me tell you, that didn't go well for him.

It didn’t matter how many different vets I visited, I had the same sh*t experience on the topic of feeding Dante a raw diet. The backlash I received at the time was surreal, closed-minded and unprofessional in my opinion. Thankfully now, more vets have become aware of the benefits through their own clients as well as recent studies supporting a raw diet. Not to mention already having a great example in the wild (the wolf). Unfortunately, those poor vet experiences have left me with a permanent bad taste in my mouth.
Four years ago, I knew I wanted to help change dogs lives through nutrition but I wanted to do it differently and better than anyone else and so The Loyal Butcher Co. was born.

At The Loyal Butcher Co. it was paramount that our brand would promise our members and community to have a better experience. TLB's vision has always been to make our members feel safe and comfortable to speak up about their experience with their dog(s) health and nutrition with no judgement or condemnation. I wanted my members and community to feel like they were talking to an older brother. One who likes to joke around, probably swears too much, drinks a couple cold ones after a long work day but most importantly, one who is always in their corner through the good and bad. One who’s there to provide experience, knowledge and protection from those who don't have their dog’s best interests in mind.
That is what I want my members and community to remember. I’m just another dude with a big heart wanting to help my community and their furry friends when the occasions arise. Now I'm not everyone's cup of tea and that's fine, but know that with me I will be 100% honest with you and your dog’s nutrition and give you 150% of myself, no bullsh*t.
The Loyal Butcher Co. has been life changing for me on so many levels and I'm extremely grateful for all the people in my life that have helped make this a reality and supported me along the way. A few quick shout outs to my amazing members, my wife Jenna, my family (Mom, Pops, Tara, Tess and Kieran), my doggos Dante, Nya and Ezra, Joschka for designing our logo, Patti & Matt from Iron Will Raw who produce the best product out there and to all you beauties out there who have been a part of TLB along the way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
